Create a Tenant Project
This applies to: Managed Dashboards, Managed Reports
When you create a new tenant in Symphony, you're creating an isolated work area for specific clients, departments, or lines of business.
After you create the tenant and define that tenant's a admin users, you'll need to create the tenant's project and define its security settings as a next step.
Create a new Project

Log in to Symphony as a system Admin user and open the Managed Dashboards work area. Your main dashboards work area opens.

Select Profile > Administration from the main menu. The Symphony Overview work area opens, including an expanded main menu with administration options.

Select Projects / File System > Projects. The Projects work area opens.

Create the new project by selecting Add New. A Create a new project modal opens.

Give the project a name, then select the appropriate Tenant name from the list of tenants.

Select (check) Set As Active Project. This allows the project to be used by tenants.

Change the Initial Project Privileges to Custom. You can adjust the specific settings after the project is created.

Select Save to create this project. Symphony returns a success message, and a Security work area opens.
Define the Security settings for a project

After you create a new Project, the Security work area opens so you can define the privileges for users of this project.
If you navigate away from this area, select the Project in the Project work area, Edit it, then scroll down in the Properties modal to select Security and reopen this work area.

Set the Security options as follows with the group Everyone selected:
Field Set To Delete Not Set Execute Allow Full Control Not Set List Folder Contents Allow Modify Folder Allow Read Allow Write Allow -
Select Save to save your custom security settings. Symphony returns a success message, and you are returned to the Projects work area.
Next, you'll define access for the tenant and tenant users to the appropriate connectors in Symphony.
