Modify Account Administrators

When you create an account as a supervisor you are required either to:

  • Assign an existing user as the administrator of the account
  • Create a new user as the administrator of the account.

Thereafter, you can only modify the administrators of the account when you are logged in as an administrator of the account.

To modify the administrators of an account:

  1. Log in as an administrator for the account.

    If the system administrator user name you logged in with is also associated with other Symphony accounts, verify that the correct account is selected. See Switch Accounts.

  2. Select the Users & Groups option from the Tools menu in the main menu. The Users and Groups page appears. It contains two options: Users and Groups.

  3. Select Users to see a list of all the user definitions that have been defined for the account.

  4. On the left side of the page, select the name of the user definition you want to add or remove as an administrator of the account. The user definition appears on the right side of the page.

  5. Scroll to the Groups section of the Info tab in the selected user definition.

  6. To make the user an administrator of the account, add the user to the Administrators group. Select Add Groups to bring up the Add Group(s) dialog.

    Select (check) the Administrators group in the dialog and select Apply.

    To remove the user as an administrator of the account, clear (uncheck) the Administrators group in the dialog and select Apply.

  7. Select Save to save the user definition.
